Customers text their order. An agent drafts it at their price.
A customer texts a list, or a photo of one, to your ordering number. An agent matches each line to your catalog, prices it exactly as a rep's order would be, and texts the draft back for a YES. A rep approves it like any other order.
Half your customers already order by text. It just lands on a rep's personal phone.
Texted orders arrive as photos of handwritten lists, at all hours, to whoever the customer has a number for. Someone has to read them, find each item and key them in.
APFoodz reads the text, finds the items, prices the order and asks the customer to confirm it, so the rep only reviews.

Forgiving matching
Reads orders the way customers actually write them, typos and all.
Asks when unsure
Asks the customer to choose instead of guessing.
Same price as a rep
The draft is priced exactly as a rep's order would be.
YES to place
The customer replies YES to confirm, or NO to cancel.
Rep approval

Ordering by text message: questions we are asked.
Can the agent place an order on its own?
No. The customer must reply YES, and the order then waits for a rep's approval before stock is reserved.
What if a customer texts from a new number?
Only numbers saved on a customer record can order by text, so add the new number to their account first.
Does a customer who buys from two distributors on APFoodz get confused?
No. When one phone has open orders with two distributors, the agent asks which one before placing anything.
